For newborn sessions, this depends on your baby's schedule but usually mornings work wonderfully for at home newborn sessions.
For family and couple sessions outdoors we would look at golden hour times in the morning or evenings when the light is the softest which will will complement you the most.
In nature or at your own home, wherever you feel comfortable and where it matches your vision for your photos is great for me.
I prefer working with natural and authentic environments instead of in a studio.
When in nature, I have certain locations at beaches, lakes, in fields or parks that offer wonderful backgrounds to lovely photos.
I'm also open to any ideas that you have in terms of location.
As a mother myself I have faced this dilemma myself, hence, I offer to edit your personal photos which you have taken, for instance, on your smartphone to make them appealing for a photo book, for instance. If you are interested in my editing services, please do not hesitate to contact and we can chat about it.
Every photo gets edited in my personal style. I do retouches if necessary. If you wish for specific retouches, I'm happy to discuss in person.
Extensive retouching wishes can be done with extra charge.
If it's your wish to reschedule due to rain, for instance, I'm happy to oblige. At the same time, rainy photos hold their own greatness and fun.
If it's due to any other reason, that's fine as well. We will certainly find a new slot that fits both of us. A timely notification would be great for me to work with.
Although your newborn will always be precious and great to be captured, I do recommend to time it for the first 2 weeks after his or her arrival as then they have the most exquisite newborn aura and tiniest hands and feet :)
As I only offer sessions during the weekends, these can fill up fast - so I recommend to secure your slot as soon as possible.
For Newborn sessions I usually recommend to book at least 3 months in advance.
